A 25-foot (7.6 m) boat based on the commercial version of Boston Whaler's 25-foot (8 m) console kter, suitable for inland operations and easily transported. These are primarily used by Port Security Units to protect loading/unloading ports in overseas naval support areas as well as in mobilization areas. Initially, these boats and units were deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The stability, versatility and mobility of these ships make them ideal for this type of operation.
